So...um...yeah

So this blog has not done very well. I keep not having time to update it. Or I take too many pictures, and then I feel like the task of updating is so daunting...and it never gets done.

Due to excessive traveling and studying in the next few weeks, full updates will not likely come until the summer. Maybe then I'll feel the need to update a bit. Nothing to do this summer, so why not?

Quick word though. Went home to see Andrew graduate! I am so proud of him. Except for his slouching during the walking in procession. Then again, he did look better than Tyler Kaz, who just looked pissed to be graduating. Who is ever upset to leave high school?! I don't understand.

Anyway, Andrew. He's getting so old! He goes off to college in the fall, I start my senior year, then I graduate and have to get a real-life job. Where did college go?! I'm sure his will fly by just as fast.

It was great being back for the weekend. That's right, a weekend. Thursday night to Monday morning, with 5-hour layovers in Toronto both ways. Ugh. But it was worth it. I got to see family, eat real American food, drive, see Andrew complete another chapter in his life...what more could a girl want?

My body didn't think it was worth it this week though. Here was the schedule:

Monday - Didn't sleep on the plane (good movies!) except for 25 minutes
Tuesday - Slept 2 hrs on the bus back, then a nap from 11:30 am to 3 pm, then fell asleep at 4 am.
Wednesday - Woke up at 4 pm. WTF. Where did the day go?! Went to bed at 5:30 am.
Thursday - Woke up at 11:30 am. Bed at 3:30 am.
Friday - Woke up at 8:30 am.

Maybe I'm finally back on track? Hopefully. I did not have this trouble in January. Then again, I didn't care about the time difference this time, since I was off in TN too. Woke up 5 am the first day, then before 7 am the rest of the days. I also knew I had a week to recover, so I didn't push myself to go to bed early and adjust to the time difference.

Tomorrow I leave for Amsterdam! Sam, Kendall and I are already planning stuff. We think the zoo might make the list. Who can resist animals?! :)

Classes: Day 1

Classes started today. Monday morning class at 9 am is going to be difficult. Very difficult. On the upside, it's the only morning I start earlier than 11 am. Yay!

Official Schedule:

Britain in the 20th Century
Europe in the 20th Century (I'm hoping for some overlap!!)
Contemporary Issues in Psychology
Analyzing Television (BBC! hopefully)

And no classes on Friday, so I have a 3-day weekend for traveling and the like.

Oh, and today is my first day of rain. It's wet and cold. But so far it's just drizzling, so I can bear it. :)
